GLA Agricultural Electronics, the leader in the animal health electronic thermometer industry, offers the newest technology in electronic digital thermometers. The M700 Series, a completely internally re-engineered thermometer. GLA has been manufacturing animal health thermometers for more than 35 years and has revolutionized the way animal’s temperatures are taken.
Our workhorse model, the M700, is a direct replacement for the M500HPDTand our earlier digital thermometer the M216. The new thermometer series will give you all of the high quality features that GLA is known for. In addition, we have added features that many of our customers have asked for:
Audible beeps when the high temperature is reached, when the battery is low, confirmation when switching from Fahrenheit to Celsius, and when the battery pack has reached the recharge point.
An internal calibration check viewable when the probe is detached.
The M700 continues the tradition of the last six generations of GLA Thermometers, a fast, accurate, durable, animal health thermometer that over the course of its useful life will actually save you money and, more importantly, animals. It may well be the last thermometer that you ever purchase.
We are very excited to introduce the second thermometer in the 700 Series – the M750, a direct replacement for the M550. With the M750 we have been able to add the features we have been asked for. The M750 can be used as a stand alone thermometer just as you used the M700, but has many new features that will expand the usefulness of your M750.
If you use a computer and are looking for a thermometer that will give you immediate input into your software program, the M750 offers a RS232 serial port and cable. Through the RS232 Port you can connect an RFID tag reader, you can store temperatures in the field and down load them into a computer, you can use the RFID tag reader and link it to an animal id and temperature, and you can also manually store a tag number (with a computer terminal) and link it to a temperature. The temperature and ID number are also linked to a date and time. This is a technology that we are very excited about and will offer you some true time savings in the future.
